Apparatus for exposing a luminescent member to light, comprises a body (12) defining a chamber (14) for receiving at least part of a luminescent member, and a light source (16) in the chamber (14) for exposing at least part of a luminescent member therein to light. The body (12) is configured to substantially prevent light from the light source (16) being visible from outside the chamber (14) when the luminescent member is being exposed to light inside the body. The apparatus may also comprise resilient pads (40) which clean and/or dry a fishing line as it is passed through the apparatus. |
