The carpet (1) has upper compound whose entire or part of a reverse side is arranged with a non-woven layer (4) manufactured by paper method or wet method. The upper compound includes the superposition of an aspect layer (2) and a support layer (3), where the support layer forms the reverse side of the upper compound. The support layer (3) is formed with a base of thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a process of manufacturing a carpet.
