The device has a cooling system (13) inserted between a heating system and a space in a basin (20) and including a casing that partially surrounds the space in the basin. The casing is constituted of magnetic and resistivity material. The casing allows circulation of a coolant between itself and the space, and is transparent to a medium frequency magnetic field generated by the heating system. An independent claim is also included for a process for of heating and cooling a basin.
