PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high purity bis(hydroxymethyl)perfluorocyclohexane in a high yield by reducing perfluorocyclohexanedicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester, and a method for producing a di(meth)acryloyl derivative of the product. SOLUTION: This method for producing the bis(hydroxyalkyl)perfluorocyclohexane by reducing the perfluorohexanedicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester is provided by using a dialkylaluminum hydride as a reducing agent. Thus obtained bis(hydroxyalkyl)perfluorocyclohexane is converted to its (meth)acryloyl derivative by performing the reaction with an acrylic acid halide or methacrylic acid halide, and there, a metal hydride compound or an alkyl group-containing metal derivative can be used as a base.
