PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating unit for an electronic device which has a temperature stabilizing performance with low noise as a device cooling a SQUID element sensitive to temperature change and a radiation sensing element or the like. SOLUTION: The device is the refrigerating unit for the electronic device which can stabilize temperature with low noise using infrared rays as a heat source, comprises a halogen lamp 2 for infrared rays generation, is constituted in such that the rays can irradiate a heat transferring rod 10 in a freezer with a quarts fiber 3 and a quarts rod 5 from an exterior of a freezer 6, and has a structure which does not use an ohmic-resistance heater which may become a noise source.
