PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a second host computer to control a copy of data inside a computer system instead of a first host computer normally controlling the copy of the data, in the computer system. SOLUTION: The second computer selects a storage subsystem to be accessed for acquiring subsystem pair information from a plurality of storage subsystems, and acquires the subsystem pair information of the selected storage subsystem. The second computer generates system pair information including copy pair information related to a plurality of storage areas of the plurality of storage subsystems on the basis of the acquired subsystem pair information. The second computer first selects the storage subsystem directly connected to the second computer, and thereafter, sequentially selects the storage subsystem on the basis of the acquired subsystem pair information.
