PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetism detector not affecting detection accuracy on a magnetic movable body which is a body under detection even if displacement exists at relative positions of magnetoresistive elements and a magnet owing to variations in manufacture. SOLUTION: This magnetism detector includes a magnetic field detection part comprising at least two magnetoresistive elements, the magnet for impressing a magnetic field on the magnetoresistive elements, the magnetic movable body for changing the magnetic field generated by the magnet, and a processing circuit part for outputting a signal on the basis of changes in resistance values of the magnetoresistive elements owing to the change in the magnetic field.
