PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking nut which can surely fasten and fix an object to be fixed by means of a bolt and a nut, prevents the screw coupling from being loosened due to external force such as external vibration or with the lapse of time and suppresses the cost increase, and to provide a fixture structure using a bolt and a nut and to provide a method of manufacturing the locking nut. SOLUTION: The locking nut includes an upper nut section 1 having an annular portion 11 with a centrum through which the bolt extends, and a lower nut section 22 having a cylindrical portion with a centrum through which the bolt extends. Plate-like projections 12, 13 are formed at both opposite ends of the annular portion 11 in the radial direction thereof. Recessed portions 22, 23 in which the projections 12, 13 are press-fitted are formed at both opposite ends of the upper part of the cylindrical portion in the radial direction thereof. Female screws each engaging with a male screw of the bolt are formed on the centrum inner peripheral portions of the upper nut section 1 and the lower nut section 2. Annular parts 11A and 11B on both sides of the projections 12, 13 of the upper nut section 1 are so formed as to be inclined with respect to the lower nut section 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
