PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition that is excellent in large scale moldability and has a good property suitable for metal plating and coating and can be used for producing a molded article having an excellent balance between impact resistance and stiffness, and to provide a molded article of the same. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises a 10-30 pts.mass rubber-containing graft copolymer (A), that is produced by impregnating an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer into a rubber-type polymer (a) whose gel content is 50-70 mass% and swelling amount is 20-50 times and then by graft polymerizing within a range of 3-15% graft density, a 10-30 pts.mass rubber-containing graft copolymer (B), that is produced by graft polymerizing a rubber-type polymer (b) having a specified particle diameter distribution by an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer, and a 40-80 pts.mass vinyl copolymer (C) containing units of an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer, and (A)+(B)+(C)=100 pts.mass.
