PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire capable of enhancing the steering stability, reducing the rolling resistance of the tire, and reducing the weight of the tire. SOLUTION: The radial tire for high speed and heavy load comprises a pair of bead parts 6 including a bead core and a bead filler, a carcass ply 12 returned from the inner side of the tire axial direction (A direction) to the outer side of the tire axial direction around the bead core 14, a belt layer 16 arranged on the outer side of the tire radial direction (B direction) of the carcass ply 12, and a cord reinforcement layer 28 containing a three-axis textile arranged in an area on the outer side of the tire radial direction of the bead parts 6 and inner side of the tire radial direction of and end of the tire axial direction of the belt layer 16.
