The test device has a base frame (1) holding a support frame (2) with vibration dampers (3). A table (5) with a high-frequency vibrator (4) is supported on top of the frame. A pneumatic actuator (10) moves a swinging arm (8) with a weight (9) which raps against a projection on the frame. A workpiece (7) covered in flock material (12) is fastened to the vibrating table. An air ionizer (13) produces a stream of ionized air (14) which dislodges the flock from the workpiece so that it falls into a weighing receptacle (11).
