PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense stick which can be placed in a stable posture to secure safety at the time of incense and produced with good efficiency at a reduced cost, a manufacturing method and a using method therefor. SOLUTION: A main powder comprising a cedar powder, a charcoal powder, or the like, is compounded with a perfume, water, a combustion-assisting agent, or the like, and kneaded to give a kneaded material. The kneaded material is extrusion-molded by means of an extrusion-molding machine into a stick having a triangular cross section.
