PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light wave radar device for enabling to measure the direction, velocity, and condition of wind with high precision of a plurality of observation spaces with different distances. SOLUTION: The light wave radar device comprises a light transmit-receive part which sends a transmitting light in the air and obtains a receiving light by collecting the scattered light, a scan driving part which scans a optical path of the transmitting light in a predetermined direction, a receiving signal generating part which generates receiving signals by performing photoelectric conversion of the obtained receiving light, and a wind speed vector calculating part which detects a radial wind speed value by performing frequency conversion of the receiving signal and and calculates a wind speed vector from a plurality of the radial wind speed values and an output value of a corresponding elevation angle and an azimuthal angle. The scan driving part calculates scanning angles corresponding to the distances so that a plurality of points which are located at predetermined distances from the scan center are scanned on the basis of the distance between the installation position of the light wave radar device and an observation space, and scan the path of the transmitting light.
