<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly lighting apparatus for ceiling with reduced frictional force at the time of pushing for rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus has an apparatus main part 1 of nearly flat plate shape arranged horizontally. A rotation hooking type round bowl-shaped translucent cover 6 is provided at the lower face side of the apparatus main part 1. A downward bent edge 2 bending downward is provided at the lower surrounding of the apparatus main part 1. A flexible body 5 is installed at the inner position of the downward bent edge 2 at the lower surrounding of the apparatus main part 1. The flexible body 5 is band-shaped and also annular shaped. The flexible body 5 is equipped with a base 10 to be adhered to the apparatus main part and a feather-like part 11 implanted on the base 10.
