PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal stove having a charcoal stove body capable of being easily and safely carried in one hand with burnt charcoal being put therein. SOLUTION: The charcoal stove 10 comprises the charcoal stove body 12 having a heating opening portion 18 and a band annular holding member 22 provided on the upper side of an outer peripheral portion of the charcoal stove body 12. On the outer peripheral portion of the charcoal stove body 12, cover members 30a, 30b are arranged turnably on supporting portions 34a, 34b. The supporting portions 34a, 34b are opposed to each other in the direction of the approximately diameter of the holding member 22 and turnably supported by holding bands 24, 26. The cover members 30a, 30b have handle members 36a, 36b arranged so that the cover members 30a, 30b are pulled to shield at least a center upper part of the heating opening portion 18 when the charcoal stove body 12 is carried. The handle members 36a, 36b are arranged outside the outer peripheral portion of the charcoal stove body 12 apart from the heating opening portion 18 when the charcoal stove body 12 is not carried.
