<p>The present invention discloses a key with gear in the keyboard, including a key top, a positioning board, four gears, a elastic member, a thin-film circuit board and a substrate, charactering in that the elastic member and the positioning board are set above the bottom board and under the key top; the thin-film circuit is set between the bottom board and the elastic member; there are four pairs of axletrees in which there are four gears mounted, under the key top there are four toothed supporting surfaces which parallel toothed with gears, so that the key can move up and down.
