ISOTOPE-SELECTIVE ADSORBENT, ISOTOPE SEPARATION ENRICHMENT METHOD, AND ISOTOPE SEPARATION ENRICHMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent that can effectively separate and enrich15NH3from ammonia raw material, to provide a separation enrichment method using the adsorbent, and to provide a separation enrichment apparatus using the adsorbent.

SOLUTION: The isotope-selective adsorbent is prepared by heat-treating a zeolitic adsorbent which is an Na-K type A zeolite or a Zn-K type A zeolite as an isotope selective adsorbent having a window diameter of 0.38 nm and selectively adsorbing14NH3among the ammonia isotopes contained in a raw material gas at a temperature of 650 to 800°C and can make possible the adoption of a pressure swing separation and enrichment using it, and can perform a high concentration15NH3separation and enrichment by both the adsorption of14NH3and the pass of15NH3.
