<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic body surface traveling vehicle which can move on a traveling surface being orthogonal, does not fall out resulting from an over-decline of the magnetic attracting force at the time of the moving, and in addition, can realize the performance by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic body surface traveling vehicle is equipped with a traveling vehicle main body 1, magnetic wheels 2a and 2b, a plate 20 made of a non-magnetic material, and a plate moving device 20. The magnetic wheels 2a and 2b are provided on the front and rear sides in the traveling direction of the traveling vehicle main body 1, and are attracted to the traveling surface by the magnetic force. The plate 20 is arranged in a vicinity of the magnetic wheel 2a on the front side, and is pinched between the magnetic wheel 2a on the front side and the traveling surface on this side from among orthogonal traveling surfaces when the magnetic wheel 2a on the front side travels on the traveling surfaces which are orthogonal to each other. The plate moving device 20 is provided on the traveling vehicle main body 1, and moves the plate 20 from a specified standing-by position located below in a vicinity ahead of the magnetic wheel 2a on the front side in such a manner that the plate 20 may be pinched between the magnetic wheel 2a on the front side and the traveling surface on this side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
