PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, an authentication method, a program, and an authentication system allowing a user to access all the terminal devices if the user memorizes only one piece of temporary authentication information for access to a plurality of terminal devices, for which authentication setting such as different passwords and the like is established. SOLUTION: It is determined whether information inputted to a user terminal device is appropriate as temporary authentication information or not by searching an authentication information registration part. The temporary authentication information is replaced by authentication information for another terminal device which is specified by search of the authentication information registration part and desired to be released from the designated use restriction.
