<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for generating a broadband output clock with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device is characterized by including: a delay section 2 including multi-stages of unit delay elements for sequentially delaying a received clock and for outputting an output of each unit element at each stage; phase synchronization means 4, 6 for feeding back a control signal on the basis of the output of each delay section to the delay section to apply feedback control to the delay amount of each unit delay element; a clock generating means 7 for generating an output clock on the basis of an output of each unit delay element of the delay section; a load capacitor connected to wires among the unit delay elements; and a switching means for switching connection/non-connection between the load capacitor and the wires installed among the unit delay elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
