ADJUSTING APPARATUS OF OPTICAL HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting apparatus wherein adjustment of optical heads corresponding to a plurality of optical disk systems can be performed by one apparatus. SOLUTION: A plurality of diffraction grating patterns generating interference fringes used for the adjusting apparatus of the optical head by a diffraction interference system and corresponding to the plurality of optical disk systems are formed on the same flat substrate and a recessed part is formed in the flat substrate to be made coincident with the thickness of a thin storage medium. Adjustment of the optical heads corresponding to a plurality of recording mediums can be performed by one apparatus by moving the flat substrate by using a high precision moving stage and switching a plurality of diffraction gratings.
