PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension pipe support by which an extension pipe can be erected on a floor during use of a vacuum cleaner so that a user can more conveniently restart cleaning work, and a vacuum cleaner equipped therewith. SOLUTION: This extension pipe support is equipped with a cover member mounted on the extension pipe of the vacuum cleaner and a support member connected with the cover member and pivoting between a first position and a second position, the first position in which the extention pope is supported in a standing posture on a floor and the second position in which the supporing member is kept in a non-use place.
