MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel capable of forming a dielectric layer having excellent transparency with little discoloration by solving a problem that a dielectric layer discolors due to a reaction of dielectric glass and silver which is a principal component of an electrode. SOLUTION: The dielectric layer 9 is formed by using a dielectric paste having a content of a binder resin component of 3-8 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of dielectric glass powder and molecular weight of 70,000-220,000 in weight average in polystyrene equivalent. Thereby, the combustion energy generated in forming the dielectric layer 9 can be reduced to control the reaction of the dielectric glass and a silver electrode for lessening discoloration, and paste applicability can be improved.
