PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facile screening chip for protein crystallization with which the crystallization conditions can be rapidly found at the time of crystallization of a protein. SOLUTION: By using the screening chip for protein crystallization, it is possible to find the crystallization conditions of a protein without repeating troublesome operation/process for searching or the like by using protein solutions having different concentrations by the trial-and-error method by bringing the chip into contact with a solution containing the protein. For example, it is possible to easily, rapidly find the crystallization conditions of the protein by using only one chip even when the sample amount of the protein is small. The screening chip for protein crystallization is applicable to various kinds of known and unknown proteins. Thereby, a new screening agent for protein crystallization, which is capable of rapidly/easily searching the crystallization conditions of a protein without expending time and labor and which is high in versatility and universality in comparison with a conventional method, is provided.
