<p>A method of producing a resin joint boot (10) having a boot body (12) with a large diameter section (14), a small diameter section (16), and a bellows section (18) and having a bush (30) fitted inside the large diameter section. The boot body and the bush are formed separately. the bush is placed inside the large diameter section of the boot body, and after that, the two parts are fixed together by laser welding. An inclined surface (24) broadening outward is provided on the inner peripheral surface of an opening end section of the large diameter section (14). An annular projection section (42) positioned so as to be in contact with the inclined surface is provided on the bush (30). Laser (R) is transmitted through the annular projection section (42) and irradiated on the inclined surface (24).</p>
