<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store selectable information attached to information related to facilities into a database, and to provide the information selected by the facility user to a portable information terminal carried by the user at the timing selected by the user, thereby enabling the user to obtain desired information in regard to the facilities easily and securely at suitable timing, without being troubled by unnecessary information. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a portable information terminal 15 carried by the user 16 utilizing facilities 11, and a database in which information related to the facilities 11 is registered. The system also includes a server for transmitting the information selected by the user 16 in advance, to the portable information terminal 15 at the timing selected by the user 16 in advance.
