<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a foldable umbrella formed foldable in a flat shape to effectively improve convenience for storage and carrying without impairing umbrella functions such as an opened umbrella size. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In this foldable umbrella, first vertical grooves (34a) and (34b) are formed at the right and left end parts of the right and left wing parts of an inside cap (21) and a runner (22), and first through holes (35a) and (35b) are formed at positions crossing the first vertical grooves of the inside cap and the runner and second through holes (36a) and (36b) are formed at positions on the center side more than the first through holes. On the inside cap (21), ribs (41) positioned on the right and left sides of the first vertical grooves are independently pivotally supported by pivot shaft members (37a) installed in the first through holes, and the other ribs (41) are collectively pivotally supported by annular pivot shaft wires (38a) inserted into the second through holes (36a). On the runner (22), stretchers (44) positioned on the right and left sides of the first vertical grooves (34b) are independently pivotally supported by pivot shaft members (37b) installed in the first through holes (35b), and the other stretchers (44) are collectively pivotally supported by annular pivot shaft wires (38b) inserted into the second through holes (36b).</p> |
