METHOD OF CONNECTING MALE TERMINAL TO CIRCUIT BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of connecting male terminals to a circuit board so that they may be well engaged with female terminals without causing the running-up of solder while suppressing the melting of Sn plating on the surface.

SOLUTION: A waterproof sheet 7 formed of thermosetting resin is pasted to one surface of a circuit board which has conductor circuits 2a and 2b formed on both surfaces and is formed with through-holes 3 in the thickness direction. The male terminals 4 in the shape of a pin are driven into the waterproof sheet 7 from the surface thereof, with part of the male terminals 4 being inserted into the through-holes 3. Then, the male terminals 4 and the conductor circuits 2a and 2b are connected by soldering to connect the male terminals to the circuit board.
