<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small antenna assembly which can be detachably mounted on an electronic device with an antenna and a separable or connetactable amplifier can be stably attached in use, can be made further compact when carried, and is suitable for receiving signals of a VHF band and a UHF band. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna assembly comprises an antenna base equipped with an antenna, and an amplifier base provided with a signal amplifier composed of a housing for a feeder line from the antenna and an amplifier circuit of the output from the antenna. The antenna base and the amplifier base are detachably bonded at a position where the bases are orthogonally arranged on one side in the lengthwise direction of the bases. The antenna base makes at least one hooking member protrude from the end of a side surface, at an arbitrary position on one side surface that is parallel to the lengthwise direction of the amplifier base in the arrangement direction of the amplifier base. The amplifier base makes a hooking member protrude from the end of the side surface at an arbitrary position of one side surface parallel to the lengthwise direction of the antenna base in the arrangement direction of the antenna base. A pinching member arranged to face the hooking member is provided.
