IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a control method thereof, and a program by which a utility management of the image processing device having plural kinds of functions can be more minutely and practically realized.

SOLUTION: Manuscript images read are divided into a plurality of objects per attribute. Vector data are converted per divided object. A management table is held for managing the upper limit value of the number of objects converted per plural kinds management unit and per kind of attribute which can be divided, and whether or not the number of accumulated objects converted per attribute reaches the upper limit value managed by the management table is determined. On the basis of the determination result, the execution of the conversion of the vector data is limited.
