PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of conventional basic makeup methods that they need successive application on the skin with a toilet lotion, a milky lotion, a cream, a beauty lotion, and the like, after face-washing and moreover in no simple manner. SOLUTION: The subject basic makeup method comprises a step for selecting at least two arbitrary liquids from among a plurality of basic cosmetic liquids 10 having stepwise different moisture-retaining power and sebum-absorbing power, a plurality of beauty lotions 20 for the purpose of a specific care of the skin, and a diluent liquid 30 for diluting the basic cosmetic liquids 10 and the beauty lotions 20, and a step for mixing the selected liquids together at a specified ratio and applying the mixture on the skin after face-washing, and thus permits even a user having sensitive skin to use the basic cosmetic liquid 10 and the beauty lotion 20 suitable to the skin qualities.
