PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of reducing a burden on a transaction enterprise by conducting a re-agreement and re-registration for a CPA (Collaboration Protocol Agreement) in electronic commerce using the eXML (Electronic Business Extensive Markup Language).

SOLUTION: An electronic commerce system 400 is configured by connecting a subject transaction device 401 to a party transaction device 402 through a network 4020. A message exchange program 406a is composed of: a GUI (Graphic User Interface) means 407 for operating a message by a business representative; a message preparation means 4010 preparing the message; a message transmission means 409 for transmitting the message; a message reception means 408 receiving the message; a message analysis means 4011 analyzing the received message; a message management means 4012 for managing the message for highly reliable delivery by ebXML specifications; a CPA management means 4015 for managing the CPA in a DB (Data Base) 4016; and a CPA update means 4013 for conducting the re-agreement or update for the CPA by referring to a CPA approval definition file 4014.
