<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a diagnostic reading doctor to recognize his/her own fatigue degree during reading a medical image. <P>SOLUTION: While the medical image to be read is displayed, a control part counts time, generates a warning message for warning that a fixed time has passed whenever the fixed time has passed and displays it on a display part 33, and displays a test pattern for discriminating the fatigue degree of the diagnostic reading doctor on the display part 33.
