PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging program by which an image of interest is immediately retrieved among many images picked up by a user. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with an image information storage means 11 for storing still image information representing still images obtained by picking up an object, a sound signal receiving means 12 for receiving a sound signal obtained from sound when the object is picked up, an emphasized state decision means 13 for deciding whether or not the sound signal received by the sound signal receiving means 12 is in the emphasized state, and an image extraction means 14 for extracting specific still image information corresponding to a sound signal when it is decided as the emphasized state by the emphasized state decision means 13.
