PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make variable the amount of an anesthetic held in an exhaust gas according to the necessity by mounting a flushing gas supply source communicatable with a filter (adsorption element) for flushing the anesthetic held in a system from the system. SOLUTION: A patient respiratory organ 1 connected to an anesthetic vaporizer 2 is mounted for supplying an anesthetic and the breathing gas to the patient through an inspiration/expiration gas line 3, and exhausting the anesthetic and the breathing gas from the patient. An adsorption element 5 having an adsorbing material 6 such as carbon as charcol or the like is mounted on the gas line 3 for adsorbing and desorbing the anesthetic gas, a line between the adsorption element 5 and the patient 4 is divided into an inspiration branch path 7 and an expiration branch path 8, and a carbon dioxide absorbing filter 9 is mounted on the inspiration branch path 7. One branch path 12 of a Y-shaped connecting part of the gas line 3 is connected to an exhaust system for the inspiration gas, and the other branch path 13 is connected to the respiratory organ 1. |
