PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk driver capable of securing a data zone as wide as possible while avoiding damage of a recording disk. SOLUTION: In a ramp member 29, a first guidepath 35 is formed along a first slope 41 intersecting a reference plane 39 at a first angleαof inclination. A second guidepath 36 is disposed outside the first guidepath 35. The second guidepath 36 is formed along a second slope 42 intersecting the reference plane 39 at a second angleβof inclination greater than the first angleαof inclination. In such a recording disk driver 11, the operation of the first guidepath 35 avoids a collision between the recording disk 13 and a head slider 26 to thereby be able to avoid damage of the recording disk 13. In addition, in comparison with the case in which the first and second guidepaths 35 and 36 are formed on the single slope at the first angle of inclination, the data zone 17 can be expanded up to the outside as much as possible on the surface of the recording disk 13.
