The aggregate applies band-formed edge material at edge ways of a work piece (1) with a pressure tool. The pressure tool and the work piece are moved relative to each other for operation of the tool along the work piece edge ways. The pressure tool is a pressure unit (8) having shape of a triangular column. The unit (8) is pivotably supported about an axis, which is the central axis of the unit (8).
