A decoupling joint (1) for combustion engine exhaust pipes, having a fluidtight, flexible metal bellows sleeve (2) in turn having a number of first undulations (10); and at least one damping member (3) in the form of a pad made of wire mesh and force-fitted into contact with the first undulations (10) of the sleeve (2); wherein the damping member (3) is locked axially with respect to the sleeve (2), and directly on the sleeve itself, close to smooth cylindrical connecting ends (21, 22) of the sleeve, by means of respective opposite end portions (12, 14) of the damping member, which are compressed to form respective locking portions defined by compacted wire mesh (4, 5) and resting axially against respective sides (30) of end undulations of the sleeve. <IMAGE> |
