FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: a Maddox cylinder ("stick") in pilot rim should be applied onto right-hand eye of a patient and a red light filter - onto left-hand eye. Photo-target (the source of light) should be put at level of patient's eyes at different distance against a patient. The degree of strabismus should be determined due to measuring the distance from a photo-target (a source of light) up to red vertical strip with the help of a ruler, the data obtained should be transformed into degrees by applying special scale for transforming linear values of corresponding angles in accordance to the distance at which the measurement took place. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of studying. ^ 3 dwg, 3 ex, 1 tbl |
