PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently develop a system for backing up data through a network. SOLUTION: A provision source development company of a backup system develops a server program 13 and a basic program 20 and provides an API of the basic program 20 so that it can generally be acquired. A development company of a user system develops an application program 30 provided with an interface to the basic program 20 and a user interface and delivers a user system 60 to a user after incorporating the basic program 20 and the application program 30 into the user system 60. A data ID of the user system 60 is delivered to the server program 15 through the application program 30 and the basic program 20 and is stored in a storage device 12 by the server program 13.
