PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval result presenting method for efficiently searching an objective document from a set of retrieval result documents. SOLUTION: Sub-topics included in a retrieval condition is extracted, and the set of retrieval result documents is classified and displayed by sub-topics by determining goodness of fit to each sub-topic of each retrieval result document. In order to realize this operation, the method has a step of extracting feature words from the retrieval condition, a step of determining degrees of interrelationship between extracted feature words and listing feature words of which the degrees of interrelationship are higher than a threshold, a step of calculating goodness of fit of retrieval result documents corresponding to the list (relevant word list), and a step of classifying retrieval result documents in accordance with goodness of fit.
