PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a components retrieval system capable of performing high speed retrieval without spending a lot of time for retrieving even though information of components prepared for a plurality of products is stored in a database. SOLUTION: The component retrieval system comprises a database section 1 storing information related to components, a temporary memory section 3 memorizing cache information including retrieval conditions and retrieved results of the database section 1 based on the retrieval conditions, and a retrieval section 4 retrieving the temporary memory section 3 in response to a retrieval request including a retrieval condition given by a client. When the retrieval condition equal to the retrieval condition given by the client is included in the cache information memorized in the temporary memory section 3, the temporary memory section 3 returns retrieval results corresponding to the retrieval condition to the retrieval section 4.
