<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing agent and its production method thereof, which prevents metal components from being infiltrated into water-absorbing metal compounds (e.g., metal salt and metal cation) and the metal components can be uniformly and finely dotted and attached on the entire surface of a water-absorbing resin when a water-absorbing agent is produced by adding the metal compounds to water-absorbing resin particles. <P>SOLUTION: According to the water-absorbing agent and the production method thereof of the present invention, water-absorbing resin particles having an internal crosslinking structure, which is obtained by polymerization of a water-soluble unsaturated monomer, an organic acid (salt), and an water-soluble polyvalent metal salt are mixed to produce the water-absorbing agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
