摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity examining apparatus capable of highly accurately examining a small-diameter buried pipe from its inside in its overall circumferential directions by one traveling and clearly specifying the locations of the buried pipe, cavities, etc. and their distribution on the basis of information acquired by the traveling. <P>SOLUTION: The cavity examining apparatus comprises a pulse generating circuit for generating electromagnetic wave pulses; transmitting antennas for projecting the electromagnetic wave pulses to the outside; receiving antennas for receiving reflected waves reflected at cavity parts, etc.; a cylindrical antenna housing having a built-in receiving circuit for processing the reflected waves receive by the receiving antennas as reception signals and traveling through the buried pipe; a controller unit for controlling the pulse generating circuit and the receiving circuit; and an image processing device for displaying images of the cavity parts, etc. on the basis of the reception signals.
