<p>An authentication apparatus which makes unauthorized use difficult to access information. A user terminal is connected to an authentication server. A user inputs a user ID and a password assigned to the user. When the input user ID and the password are matched with a set of user ID and password recorded in an identification information recording block, the access is decided to be valid. When the access is decided to be valid, a terminal identification information issuing block generates data on a unique individual number of each user terminal and the data is transmitted to the identification information recording block and to the user terminal. The data on the individual number transmitted to the user terminal is stored in a built-in storage medium.</p> |
