PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber element for display to be an element for display utilizing magnetic particles and capable of performing reversible recording, which can be manufactured without using a complicated chemical reaction and a complicated manufacturing step, has excellent durability and does not generate dust and the like and to provide a fiber sheet for display. SOLUTION: In the fiber element for display, at least magnetic particles are packed in a transparent hollow fiber. In the fiber element, the magnetic particles are favorably colored and the magnetic particles, a pigment having a color different from that of the magnetic particles and wax are packed in the transparent hollow fiber. In the fiber element for display, the magnetic particles and the pigment are favorably colored in black and white, respectively. In the fiber element for display, a core fiber having a color different from that of the magnetic particles, the magnetic particles and the wax are packed in the transparent hollow fiber.
