PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder signal processing system which prevents misrecognition caused by an abnormal input signal. SOLUTION: The encoder signal processing system 1 comprises an input section 21 which inputs two output signals comprising A-phase and B-phase from a two-phase encoder 10, an abnormality determination section 22 which determines to be abnormal when the rising edge or the falling edge of the A-phase and the rising edge or the falling edge of the B-phase are detected simultaneously, and a count section 23 which performs counting processing for the encoder to the exclusion of a signal at the time when determined to be abnormal out of output signals from the encoder 10.
