METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR EDITING WEB COMPOSITE DOCUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to dispersively edit a corrected document embedded in a Web composite document without necessity for preliminarily installing a Web application in a local computer in a system for editing a composite document provided on Web.

SOLUTION: When the edition of the corrected document included in the provided Web composite document is instructed, an editor name for identifying a program for editing the corrected document which is included in the corrected document is read. Then Web service having an editor name coincident with the read editor name is retrieved from a network to acquire the position of the Web service. Then the corrected document is edited by using the Web service present in the acquired position.
