摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in the identification of targets of an inverse synthetic aperture radar apparatus. SOLUTION: The inverse synthetic aperture radar apparatus is provided with a freeze image measuring part for extracting the width, length, and position of a target on the basis of freeze images; a target data database for previously storing target data on the width, length, and position of every target; a parameter collating part for collating measurement results with the target data to generate target selection signals; an environment variable generating part for generating environment variables on the basis of environmental conditions at actual observation; an environment data database for the environmental conditions and the environment variables; a pseudo ISAR image generating part for generating reference images on the basis of a target model on the basis of the environment variables read on the basis of radar specifications; a target selecting part for selecting reference images on the basis of the target selection signals; a pattern collating part for performing pattern collation on the freeze images with a selected reference image to acquire collation results; and a collation result processing part for converting the collation results, the freeze images, the reference images, and the target data into display signals.
