PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely adjust a rigidity of a flexible cable which is adapted to electrically connect a control section of a recorder body to a recording head and has a high followability with respect to the movement of the recording head, and to effectively suppress vibration or floating of the flexible cable. SOLUTION: In this recorder in an inkjet recording method or the like, a cable cover 9 which can be bent together with the flexible cable 8, is provided along the surface of the flexible cable 8, the cable 8 being adapted to electrically connect the control section of the recorder body to the recording head 3 reciprocated in a main scanning direction (x). The cable cover 9 is constituted of at least two sheet materials connected with each other.
